Art Classes are crucial for developing multi-use skills, such as creativity and independence, and for giving students a way to express ideas through art. You cannot learn to draw in just one day, or even in one month. That’s why we offer an ONGOING program, with admission on a rolling basis, to gradually help your child learn and master a variety of art techniques - scale, composition, shading, color theory, values, and drawing/painting using charcoal, colored pencils, watercolor, acrylic, and oil paint, soft and oil pastel, and much more. Children will learn how to draw plants, animals, people, imaginary creatures, landscapes, still lives, and cartoons. The instructor is very inventive and flexible. She teaches children not just to copy, but to think, generate ideas, and lead the picture to a finished point with a story and meaning behind it. This school of art is unique because Art Zone combines traditional European art institute teaching approaches and American art school teaching methods.. Cost in 2024-2025 school year: $130 per month (two hour-long class/week)- 4 classes/month $240 per month (2 two-hour-long class/week or for 2 siblings) PAY by class (2 hours long) - $35! NEW POLICY: LATE FEE $20 fee per 15-minutes late to picking up your child. $20 fee per 30-minutes early drop off to class. $80 fee per 60 minutes late for picking up your child. All recurring classes are subject to a $25 per child registration/art supply fee, charged once per 2025- 2026 school year. Would you like to come in and try out one class? 1 trial class (2 hours long) for $30! (Next drop-in class is $35). Private Art Classes are also available for $80/hour. Semi-Private Art Classes (2 People) are also available for $100/hour , 3 People-$120/hour ATTENTION! WE DO NOT OFFER ANY FREE CLASSES!!!
